Lati

After several years of trying to get an ERMAEN (Eco Robotical Magneto-Artculated Entity, a personal computer) for himself, V1 found one in a garage sale. The guy selling it thought it was just a mannequin.

"How much?"

"20 dollars. Wig not included". 

As V1 started with the repairs and updates, he noticed something. Although her metallic components were somewhat rusty, her biological self was intact. The main problem with this, is that no model of ERIOMAEN has that serial number. And no model uses biological components!

Also, her codename was ERBIOMAEN-03 (Eco Robo Biological Magneto-Articulated Entity).

V1 finally updated the model. Repaired her solar panels, and changed the main metal plates in her chest and left leg.

The android started to repeat her latitude and longitude. 

"Latitude, longitude... "

V1 has a lack of ability to choose names. So he simply chose Lati.

V1 made a backup of the files in her volatile memory. As soon as her hybrid brain was successfully reconnected, it proceeded to restart.

Looks like it was the first (or second) time it got turned on in function.

"Who are you?"

"I think I am your master."

"Master?"

"Yes. That's the idea."

"But... who's my father?"

"Technically, your company."

She cried as soon as she saw her body.
V1 was surprised. Really surprised.

"So, what am I?!"

"A robot. Well, a cyborg, technically talking. You have some parts of your body made from metal. But some... some are living organs. 
I'm impressed and sincerely, a bit scared."

"What am I going to do?"

"Be my friend, I suppose."

"Mmm? OK, I think. So, this is my home now?"

"Yes. Your questions will be answered at its time."

"And my name?"

"Your name is Lati."

"Lati? Sounds fun. I like it."
